Michael Shane Neal has recently completed a portrait of U. S. Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) for Yale Law School in celebration of his 50th Anniversary as a graduate of the university. Senator Specter posed for his portrait both in his Pennsylvania home and in Neal's Nashville studio. The portrait is scheduled to be unveiled on June 6th, 2008 in the Mansfield Room, United States Capitol building, Washington, D.C.
