Retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor poses
with a portrait that was presented to the College of Law during
a ceremony on Friday, Sept. 12. Joining the Justice were four of
her former law clerks, who commissioned the portrait, from left,
Barbara Bennett Woodhouse, David H. Levin Chair in Family
Law at the Fredric G. Levin College of Law, University of Florida;
Kent Syverud, Dean of the Washington University School of Law;
Arizona Supreme Court Justice Scott Bales; and Gail Agrawal,
Dean of the University of Kansas School of Law; along with
Dean Paul Schiff Berman of the College of Law, artist Michael
Shane Neal, and Dean Emeritus Patricia D. White of the
College of Law.
